I think that with every Orbital album since Snivilization, it takes a little
while to get the full understanding of what they have done. It does take a
few listens to really appreciate the sounds they have created.
I personally feel "The Altogether' is brilliant, with the exception that it
doesnt integrate the full range of emotion that they usually include in
their material. Most of the stuff is in that pleasant mode between dance
and intelligence, and thats what I have always liked about them.
I havent heard or seen the second disc yet... but I do look forward to it.
I agree that the 2CD edition will probably be more appealing to the general
listener.
