many different types of gear, fail to realize that their hardware is as
much a piece of technology as any computer
Thats a good point.

technology is voice, and possibly some percussion.
That is too. But here's is my real sorta beef with the whole thing.
Some guy reads a quote from the 90's, which hey, I am cool with that...brings it to the forum and makes it seem like Mr. May made that quote about ALL, and I will reiterate that ALL, people who use computers! Twisting the issue, into something totally different than its original intent, I believe. If we go back and listen to some of the dudes, on whatever side of the fence, who utilized computers more than the actual hardware.....let's face it, it was crap....much of it was cuz some where just trying to get rich, or get fame. NOT ALL, NOT ALL....so get that blanket indictment out of your numb-skull(that's not directed at you Egg). Nowadays, sure there's good music on both sides, and thats not indispute, rather what is in dispute perhaps is the degree of true creativity based on hard, long hard work.
Computer artists have many more sounds to choose from and thats a definate advantage. But to make it sound like DM was saying that about ALL people who use software is twisted.
quoted 1 line oh, here's>>oh, here's
an idea: maybe making music is a rather fun hobby that should be enjoyed by
more people for a lower price?
Man Egg, thats the best comment I have heard in some time.
Stay positive.....I'm trying.
