so I got this random CD at the Plaid show in LA....

and it only had two songs on it.
so I was driving to work this morning and i put it in my CD player...
1st song... Sheet... this is the SHIT. I turned it up, UP, UP, all the way
UP.
2nd song... OH MY FUCKING GOD. Now understand (and I know you are on this
list, sprek), that I dont get reactions like that very often to music I hear
for the first time. I immediately thought... desert. The build up, the
structure, the melody, it fucks with your mind... its the kind of music that
if you were on psychedelics you would be having major "realizations" to.
Reminded me of Monolake's Geckos. Little hints of L'uisine (i am totally
obsessed with L'uisine btw).
Powerful stuff.
When the CD ended, I felt genuine remorse. Two songs! You gotta put that
shit out, or else you'll make people like me cry crocodile tears.
Okay, my amature reviewing skills are coming to an embarassing end.
Everyone should bug this kid about getting this pressed on a record and
putting it out to the public. Maybe you already are and I dont know about
it.
I am going to be listening to this while at Burning Man...
