im a idm/elm dj, also a hard techno & noize dj, and when i do a set, i tend
to mix all tracks. i never put one song after the other. the important thing
in a dj set, is that the transitions are smooth and seemless. my mixes arent
perfect.
on my radio show, i do 2 types of djing. 1 is typical radio djing with cds &
commentaries on tracks and albums. the tracks arent mixed at all. on the
other hand, when i do a dj set, i get on the turntables exclusively and mix
non stop for 45-90 minutes without interruptions.
