Well, it appears he's doing the site with javascript links, which one would
hope that Netscape could handle - although I'm just checking with Opera, and
they don't work there, either. Regardless, I'm not sure I see why he needs
Javascript just to load pages in different frames. Normal targeted links
would do the job just as nicely, wouldn't they?

Hmm... they're just gzipped (zipping for Unix (and Linux and stuff)). I
think MS' IE does it automatic, and I know WinZip does GZipping. Maybe
you're on a Mac? I'm not sure why whatever common internet zipping utils
the Mac has wouldn't do gzipping, though - it's not *that* uncommon.
They would need to be compressed, though - those IDM archives take up a
*LOT* of space!
