This recording has been mentioned on the list at least
twice, but there hasn't really been any discussion of
it...I can only imagine that's because it's so
skull-fuckingly WIERD that nobody's figured it out
enough to say anything meaningful about it?
Might also be cuz it's not IDM by any stretch of the
imagination, and we wouldn't want to get off topic,
eh? (IDMest breakfast cereal: Grape Nuts - they're
so...granular)
Anyhow, after a million listens, it's just barely
starting to gel, and I'd love to hear some
discussion/opinions about this album, cause this shit
is HOT. Sorry to drop the evil C word here, but the
inaccessability -> patience -> huge reward arc with
this album is a lot like Confield, and the payoff may
be even more, depending on your tastes. Definatley the
"grower" album of the year so far, IMO.
