the best SENKING i've heard is the "trial" cd on raster-noton. the 20 to
2000 3inch cd is also very good, though i've only heard it once or
twice.
the s/t cd is much more ambient and less beat driven than his other
work.
the "ping/thaw" cd is a typical idm album-kind of like "tri-repetae"-era
AUTECHRE, though not as jagged, with a smoother, dub-influenced vibe.
basically the raster material is a bit more unique, developed, and
glitchier.
other stuff i'd recommend would be ANDREAS TILLIANDER/MOKIRA, POLE,
MAURIZIO, MONOLAKE ("hong kong" should suit your taste), KIT CLAYTON,
JONAS
BERING "emballages" 12", GUSTAVO LAMAS "celeste" 12", PLASTIKMAN
"consumed",
DUB TAYLOR, BASIC CHANNEL, PUB, LOSOUL, and DETTINGER.
if a song-oriented pop album doesn't scare you definitely pick up
"bodily
functions" by HERBERT.
