Confield, oh how excited was I, another autechre album, mmm, can't wait,
maybe it'll be another, incunbala, tri repetae, or maybe even amber or the
brilliant garbage..... imagine my dismay to find that it was to quote the
infamous scottish comedy show chewin the fat "a lotta shite"... don't get me
wrong i'm all for aural experimentation and abstract sounds but forgive me
if i overstep the mark here... but i thought the point of IDM was in the
title of the genre... I personally have experimented with abstract sounds
and the loading sound from my old 48k Spectrum (Rubber Ket Version) but i
never thought of sticking it out on CD and charging folks £12-14 quid for a
coaster.... listening experience.... shit... why can;t the make music like
they used to ... take gimmik for instance, early Autechre-esque, moved on in
the right direction but utterly brilliant... Rant Over
