first off, "Supermogadon" by Marumari (out today) is
very very good. Sweet, melodic, soothing, occasionally
crunchy but mostly just plain lush. Very nice.
Gorgeous packaging too.
Secondly... IDM came out of dance music, deal with it.
As an american, i awkwardly flail about in describing
my taste in music from saying techno (which equates to
bad house w/ vocals or trance) or saying electronica
which means Fatboy Slim/chemical brothers/prodigy... I
am leaning towards saying "stuff like Aphex Twin"
since that seems to get an idea across at least half
of the time.
sorry, re-reading that paragraph i realize it doesn't
really add anything, but i can't bear to delete it.
Anyhow, fuck it all, get Supermogadon!!!
