If you've got the chance of seeing them, I'd definitely recommend it. I've seen them a couple of times, once at Ronnie Scotts where we somehow ended up sitting with their manager next to them on the stage, who later got us in to the aftershow party (we even got drinks delivered to the table - pretty sweet). It's not just a DJing set, but a 5(?) piece band - drums, bass, keys, alto sax, DJ (it's one of the guys from DJ Food I think). Very tight stuff, and the new tracks are great as well - I agree with whoever was going on about 'man with a movie camera'. Dan. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Cinematic Orchestra is playing here in New York on friday. Does anyone know what I could expect from the show? Is it just going to be J Swinscoe on a computer or spinning records or are we gonna have some live instrumentation? Also... I read on the C.O. website that they(?) are playing a set John McLaughlin in central park on thursday. What time is this happening? thanks ----------------------------------------------------------------- (ignore message to follow) Dan Shoebridge Project Executive The Ops Room Ltd Tel: 020 8410 8000 Fax: 020 8410 8001 Email: Dan.Shoebridge@opsroom.co.uk CONFIDENTIALITY This communication contains information which is confidential and may also be priviledged.
