reporting first sonar day: hot weather!!!!!!!
i haven't seen all but it looked like there were more people than previous
years... and more foreigner people.
mille plateaux evening was a total succes with a long line on the door
looking for room to go in.
comment: maybe it's time for sonar people to begin to think there is two
(or even three) festivals running at the same time:
one for people who looks for a good tan and dance to whatever sounds (and
take beers, have joints, and relax on the ground);
another one for people doing just the nite (you know, carl cox, jeff mills
and dance floor crazyness);
an another festival (the one i guess i'm attending) with all the real
proposals: from electronica to down tempo, with people like mille plateaux,
kitty-yo, and so... the kind of music all you around like to hear to.
but if you could see that crowd attending sonar will see a lot of them just
care about their looks....... a another big part just look for fun! (and
that's good, but men, makes difficult to listen to some music with all
people chatting and the mobiles sounding!!!)
