Astralwerks is licensing them for the US. That reminds me of when I saw Air on TV a few weeks ago just when the album was to be released here in France. They said they recorded it in LA (you know, people are supposed to think you are cool if you record in LA), and that they were going to tour in the States first before coming to France because the US audience was not as demanding, and that they could play a crap show and the Americans would love it anyway (not meaning to offend anyone, I may be paraphrasing but that's what they said.)

English is not their first language and they don't have much to say, which would explain the sappy lyrics. I guess that also comes from aping people like Polnareff, who wrote stupid lyrics in the first place.
