Yeah, you're right. Kind of a dumb thing to say. I didn't mean it to be
elitist, though. I have a hard time writing what I'm thinking sometimes.
I guess I really meant something more along the lines of for me
personally, I feel like it's kind of futile to try to promote my stuff on
this list to a bunch of other musicians because they aren't going to be
listening to it with the same ears that normal fans are. I think I'd be
better off playing my music for people that are more into electronic music
in general. That applies doubly for me because I try to put a big
emphasis on dance-friendly beats in my music. Sorry to anyone that
followed this thread for belching out nonsense before thinking.
Also, I'd be a lot more inclined to listen to people from this list's
music if there was some way to swap files in a chat room or something,
where we could actually talk about music while it's being listened to.
