I wish I could agree with you on this one. My friend who is cracked out on cocaine told me 3 years ago, when I asked him how much was enough, that he would never get into drugs like heroine, cocaine, opium, etc. I hurt for him as I watch him slowly decay away because of his incesent need to get a fix. I would like to think that ppl are adult enough to know their limits, but we aren't even adult enough to erase racism from our existence to begin with. I should clarify that I am not an activist, but that I support any cause that is out to save lives. I am extremely grateful that I managed to get out of the whole scene of using drugs, it surprises me that someone like yourself doesn't see the precautionary measures necessary when you have come so close to overdosing yourself.
