Wow I totally forgot about this record. A little dated but it still sounds dope. Sorta electro dub or something. That first track is sick. Thanks for reminding me.

I have to respectfully disagree. I think Musipal is the weakest Wagon Christ yet. It sounds like the leftovers/cutting room floor stuff from Big Soup and Tally Ho. It sounds like the half realized tracks Luke was making which lead up to the much more cohesive and flowing stuff on the mentioned albums. So many of the same samples, so many garden variety Vibert amen and apache tweaks that don't really shine. I think actually he's sort of stuck in a rut. He keeps doing the same thing. Only not as infectious as the first times around. And add insult to injury one of the tracks on the album was previously released on another compilation or something. I know we've had this debate before but I wish he would surprise us and make an uptempo record again. Or maybe he could give us some nicely done kitsch garage tracks! :) -nate --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
