another one that no one seems to have mentioned yet -
terry lee brown jr's "terry's cafe 3" on plastic city.
i have the jasper, weatherall, and herbert mixes that
everyone else has mentioned and the tlb jr. is prolly
still my favorite of the lot. way less banging/clubby
than the previous 2 volumes of the cafe series - it
was intended as a chillout house mix and has tracks
from perlon, guidance, lo fi and other labels.
glitchy in spots but really smooth/lush as well,
meticulously put together. i think his live dj sets
are more uptempo for the obvious reasons though, a
shame...
