what are people's thoughts on this album, have you heard it? i have always been a kinda-fan of Plaid, i generally like some of the songs on every album they've released, but often the overall cheery, poppy sort of cutesy melodies and mood they establish on every album isn't the sort of thing i'm often in the mood to listen to. but this digging remedy is different, without saying it's 'dark' per se, because it just isn't DARK compared to a lot of other artists but compared to past releases for Plaid its absolutely darkER. there is some really impressive effect trickz and stuff going on, a great sort of somber/lonely/hopeful atmosphere going on, hints of BoC here and there maybe, but its still clearly unmistakably Plaid i mean they have their whole smooth flowing structure and lovely delicate sounds in there... i really DIG this album, might be the first Plaid album i buy in years, just wondering if anyone else has the same impression?
