I totally agree there. When are people going to realize that "Amber" was Autechre's least impressive album and stop trying to emulate it? I am getting sick of these people ripping off Ae circa 1994. The whole thing was boring to begin with.

Actually, Autechre blows the doors off the scene with just about every release. 2 reasons for that: they are masters of their equipment and they are not attempting to emulate a certain sound. They experiment endlessly and don't give a shit if people like the results. As for Kid 606, he needs to stop f'ing about with the DSP plug-ins and make the album that we all know he is capable of.
