as I mentioned in an earlier post earlier today I went to a record shop in a hurry. Anyhow, I was flipping thru the House section, looking for some Kompakt. I stumbled upon a Matmos record. I was psyched cuz I recently read on this list good reviews of a new Matmos record. For some reason I had thought those reviews made comments that the new Matmos record was housey, so I bought it. Turns out this is some Fat Cat 12" split. I'm not disappointed, but there's only 1 housey song (an unbelievable one at that) the rest of this Fat Cat 12" is forgettable IMO. anyway, what is the title of the newest Matmos I've recently seen mentions of? the only other Matmos I own is Quasi-Objects and the Remix 12" of Bjork's Alarm Clock. Here's a loaded question: Are there any Matmos releases worth avoiding? I like what I own so far... -g np: Arovane - Tides (man I never knew how good this was til tonite) "Anything that separates us is junk.
