I just went to website and listened to the snippets, I must have this! I
have a feeling its not a vinyl release which makes me sad.
You're definitely right about them coming close to the prefuse style of clip
hop.
Its funny but as we've all said "this or that sounds like autechre" I get
the feeling scott is going to be one of those types of situations. He has
definitely innovated past the tried by 12 phase of mixing idm with hiphop.
his dj set on the warp site is really good as well, gives a good sense of
where he's coming from

Dood, you listen to the "Agony" cd yet? It is amazing, very very good stuff.
I well def check out the Machine Drum, but give the new Delarosa releases a
listen, just crazy good. Either Herren has a hefty back stock of material or
he tracks 60 hours a week; so much going on. Cant wait for the Prefuse full
length or the Samadha full length (if Herren continues to work with them, as
he did with the IA(#5?)).
I have to say that parts of "agony" would impress John McEntire because he
just perfects the "Chicacgo-postrock" style, but more, i dont know,
emotional (uh-oh, not "emotional" again).

If you like Push Button Objects, Boards of Canada, and Prefuse 73 you'll
**love** this. I never thought anyone would even come close to Herren's
Prefuse 73 stuff, but this definitely is a rival! (the art is awesome too!)
