hrmm, yes, but you must understand that HOW something is made IS interesting to a lot of people. idm is a medium of creative expression, be it musical or logical. sound is a good medium for experimenting with complex maths. some very fine music (esp. classical) was composed merely as an experiment in this 'meaningless shite' ; in an instrumental composition, how do you determine what has 'meaning' ? see my above post on intention. you also seem to neglect the concept that perhaps the artist's intention was merely make some music in an interesting way. .af.
