Sigur Ros. you've probably seen it on a few top x lists for 2000 but its
absolutely incredible. i could draw small comparisons to very early Verve and
possibly the huge sweeping guitar textures of godspeed you black emperor!,
but most importantly is the lead singer has most hauntingly gorgeous voice i
think ive ever heard.
