Sadly, they seem to hit a point when they bum out and die.
I found that the mirror ones (ie both sides shiny) are total crap.
Avoid. Other than that, I've successfully used loads of different
kinds and currently am favouring 80-min "Media Press" ones that
come in slimline cases without ID cards. They seem to work well
for me.
