a departure from soup yes, but this is a good thing. a few cool tracks mixing in distorted vocals, a little more upbeat than soup. one track (i think the last on side b) retains the emotional strength present in soup (great textures). WELL worth the purchase, try to find it on vinyl, the cover art alone is worth the $8. -looking forward to his next full length in early 2001.
