brian (+idm),
thanks for the comments i agree with most of what you have to say a lot!
the stupid thing is, all their security to confiscate 'recording devices'
was silly, we got 2 MD recorders in and only because we didn't want to hand
them in.. i mean, we were in london for the weekend and had our bags.. do
they expect us to leave our stuff somewhere to come to their party? no.. so
we brought all our stuff along, and they didn't pick up on them. so in
theory we could have recorded the show, and i know people did.. and the
mp3s already exist to prove it. but as i've said before on idm, i think
bootlegging is the biggest waste of time ever.
things i thought were shit:
the bag checks and hence very long queues to get in.. this is plainly
ridiculous, especially given it didn't work.
the large crowds all forced into small spaces due to poor venue planning
the shit acoustics of the buildings
the beer prices
the bar running out of alcohol at 12.30
no drinking water available
the size of the VIP area compared to 'our space'
the placing of the stage in the middle of the room, which could have been
moved back loads to give more space for people to see in the main room.
the pathetic attempt at visuals in the warp room.. ok, boards had some and
that was about it!!!!!!! GOD.. wake up guys?

are you sure they weren't taking the piss? i certainly was when the fire
alarm was going off. i found it particularly amusing given the shitness of
the event i'd already experienced of the event at that point.

well.. tell bjork you think that.. she was dancing next to me for most of
the bogdan set and seemed to be getting down to it in a big style. i too
was getting down bigstylee.. he rocked and kicked shit into most things
that nite!
quoted 1 line then aphex.......(i think)>then aphex.......(i think)
apparently aphex was on at 5.50... before that was chris cunningham i am
led to believe.. during this set i went home.
