Hmmm... were you even at the show Andrei? And of Clayton being derivative
of BC/CR/Monolake... well.. that's subjective of course, but they both could
be lumped into a set of producers who have and still are pushing musical
boundaries forward (if we're to continue this nonsensical generalization
shit). His set at the Plug Research/~Scape show was brief and brilliant.
Well... had you been there (and if you were... I honestly don't know how you
could draw the parallels you did) you would have understood, perhaps, what
"indecision_of_a_child" meant. I expect that www.dublab.com should be
archiving the show soon (if it's not already up) in realaudio for you to
make a slightly-more informed opinion with.

P.S. You oughta hear more than "a few things" before labeling someone
"derivative". I dunno... just lends more credibility to your argument don't
you think?

LOL / cringing.
"Maurizio" would have to play the part of God in this heaven.
Sorry, but that's gotta be one of the most ridiculous things I've read on
this list.
Don't mean that as a personal attack.
I just listened to this new Clayton 12" on Vertical Form and the track on
the A side
might as well be credited to Monolake. What's the point ? I mean, I'm always
impressed when people can emulate someone else's sound so accurately, but so
what ?
I've only heard a few things by Clayton and they've all sounded very
derivative of
that whole BC/CR/Monolake axis to me. I'm curious to see if any of his other
work
differs.
Andrei
