I know this is a really nerdy question but does anyone ever use more than 8MB on a track. I certainly haven't and i've never known anyone who has needed more even if they have 2 or 3 samplers running with 20 outputs. Why do people need the 128MB + sample RAM they have on all the new EMU's and AKAIs? BTW the original EMAX is absolutely amazing it has an analogue filter I was going to buy one really cheaply but the person reallised that he was selling it for too little. There is an EMU III XP or SP for sell, i can't remember what it is called exactly. Does anyone know much about it? What is the difference between it and the standard Emulator III?
