As I've been reading these posts about people being for or against the live electronic performance, I realized how very different we are judged as compared to traditional non-electronic artists. We claim that a good artist is one that spends hours upon hours of studio editing and comes up with a terrific piece of music in the end. And as stated below, maybe these artists shouldn't waste their time on a live performance because they will not be able to produce a meaningful piece of music that has any sort of direction. On the flip side, look at the non-electronic artist. Those who's recordings have been edited to the death and then are unable to live up to that when performing live are considered by some to be frauds. In their case, the live performance is the true display of talent. Just an interesting contrast. It is reasons like this which make me believe that our style will never become mainstream. TekDz9er
