Sorry to be amongst this type of post, but looking for help, so...
I'm going to be in California (Santa Cruz) in September, from the 5th (this
tuesday) to aprox. the 27th. If anyone can tell me places of interest in
Santa Cruz, or any surrounding areas (even San Francisco), whether
music/art/museums/food/shops/TOURIST/or otherwise, PLEASE let me know. even
what's the best transit method to get around, etc. (i do not think i will
have a car, except maybe for a weekend, but thats up in the air). and as is
undoubtedly obvious, i have little knowledge of the area. (this was a
sudden business trip).
if any listees would like to meet up drop me a line.
ALSO: if anyone has any info. on the Sept. 22nd Atom Heart / S.Coconut show
in San Fran., please let me know. the web site listed for ccac did not have
any info that i found. seems to be out dated.
Again, Sorry this is of little relevance to the list,
but for some IDM content:
a) if you dont have the Arovane - Tides (CCO) album yet you are depriving
yourself
b) just saw the 4 American Composers: John Cage video, i recommend it for
anyone into Mr.Cage, or avant-garde music stuff.
c) does anyone have any word on when a new Novel 23 album will come along?
the pitchcadet disc is STILL tops with me. another highly recommended disc.
