mean people were making some of these sounds in the 50's. i have a flexi
disk of grade school kids making sounds that so many of these artists are
making -- and it was released in the 70s. why do we keep coming back to
this electronic music bullshit? we NEED TO MOVE FORWARD. PROGRESS IS
WHAT MUSIC IS ABOUT. FUCK THAT BABY BOOMER ELECTRONIC SHIT.
(for what its worth, that cylob fellow produces some pretty insane
not-so-80s-sounding-stuff. before folks make a blanket generalization of
an artist, they should know the scope of the work they are generalizing.
i dont think any of the cylob shit is the best thing ever... but most
certainly it doesn't take much more than a kid who has never left his
bedroom to figure out cylob has done more than just "cheesey 80s").
