I don't remember the ep you described but I know a group called hypersonic
released a track in 1990 called 'dancetones' that I really liked. It's a
bleep techno track with a breakbeat and a killer bassline. It was made by
Danny Donnely from the Boogie Times Tribe (Suburban Base records - Romford,
Essex).
