I was perusing the news section at the Ninja Tune website, and in the
track listing for the upcoming 3 CD compilation "Prisoner of Xen" (which
looks pretty tasty, by the way), I found the following snippet of
news/gossip that is rather interesting...
Luke Vibert 'I Hear The Drummer'
Luke Vibert has been signed to Ninja
Tune for the last six years and has
released four pseudonymous albums for
the label.
So. Assuming this isn't just the Ninjas taking the piss, any speculation
on which project(s) are Vibert in disguise? Could be they're including the
stuff he produced for Big Dada, their hip-hop label. Perhaps Fink? There's
a bit of a loungy Vibert vibe to some of thier stuff. Hmmmm.
