We've got an hour and a half to go and I'm bored as fuck... sitting
home with the kids letting off the occasional fireworks on the
verandah and watching CNN's coverage of the big wheel in London
and other global celebrations.
Are there any Irish people on the list? I'm *sure* I saw Donal
Lunny on stage as part of the Irish contribution - can anybody
confirm this?
Eeep! Now we've got what looks like Jean-Michelle Jarre with a
huge scarf around him at the pyramids in Egypt - millions of lasers
and actually looking pretty good - the pharaohs will be turning in
their collective graves. Oh, he's the embassador for UNESCO
presenting an item on tolerance and youth. Very Deep.
Sorry I'm babbling : I'm just waiting for time to pass - after midnight
I'm off to a debauched party :-)
