One: you are assuming that Crisis was contacted by Chris, when it could

Two: Chris put forth a very precise timeline for events and backed his
statements up with facts. That is clearly evidence.

But he decides this only after agreeing to the trade??
Secondly, mail fraud is also a crime. Which means that Crisis got a
conscious, and then broke another law. If this was really his excuse, he
would have contacted Chris and returned the original CD.
Regardless, it still leaves Mr. 909 with the unanswered label of "bad
trader". Point is, one might wish to think twice before trading with him.
