You get this a lot. Sometimes I'm opening a door, and the clicking of the
lock mechanisms turns out DAMN funky... sometimes I kick some stones and
they bounce to just the right rhythm.
To quote Ae (can't remember if it was Sean or Rob) in an interview where
asked "what is your favourite track?"
"Probably the sound of someone skimming stones on a frozen lake"
Someone mentioned DXM (cough syrup) on the list the other day... good to see
another dexer around :)
The best "track" I have heard, ever, is the chopped up swooshing of wind
rustling leaves and a chorus of bird conversation (please don't ask me what
kind :), aided by Buckleys DM syrup :)
Even the best ae records don't come close to the depth of structure in the
musical machines that reality has already built for us.
