Just a short note to compliment the _A Murder in the Company of the
Vespertine_ comp. An interesting and involving listen that I have now
enjoyed several times. The first M-Tec track on it is some of the best
I've heard yet from said artist. And I even (really, really) like the
Bola
track. Most of the other groups on it I'm not very familiar with, but
Lazerboy and Dakota Suite contribute strong stuff. Tuneful and wistful.
while not groundbreaking; sometimes it's nice to hear where we came from
before we can locate our current position (or some crap like that).
Good listening from a label I'd never heard of before. Anyone heard
their previous comp, _An Evening in the Company of the Vespertine_? I'd
be interested to know if the atmosphere is the same on it ...
