I have to second this... Urban Tribe's "Collapse" album is primarily the work of Sherard Ingram, with contributions from Carl Craig, Anthony Shake Shakir, & someone else I'm forgetting. In any case, it was one of my absolute favorites last year, and, to my mind, it went criminally unrecognized. Anyone looking for moody, downtempo, dub-inflected detroit techno owes it to him/herself to check it out. Really an amazing record. (Maybe it's thanks to Mo'Wax that the record got slept on? I can't help but find it ironic that Mo'Wax -- kings of hype -- can't promote their own records for shit...) philip
