Omicron is the guise of Greek producer Savvas Ysatis
who actually has a new album of abstract tech-house
coming out on Caipirinha next month under his Sound
Track guise. I had the Omicron releases many years ago
and I remember enjoying them but they disappeared with
an old girlfriend so I cant offer comment further on them.
For those unfamiliar with Savvas Ysatis, he has been
releasing superb experimental ambient and techo/tech-
house under a variety of guises including Omicron,
Arc, Sound Track, and his own name since '95ish.
Savvas has released materialon a variety of labels
including 12k, Index, Caipirinha, Instinct, Kk/Radical
Ambient, Plastic City, Red, Nova Zembla, and Tresor.
