(idm) Ebay auction rip-off help (no IDM content--sorry!)

Wondering if anyone out there who's had to deal with a bad ebay auction
could offer some advice. It's been a few weeks since I sent the guy a
check and I still haven't heard a thing from him (even after repeated
emails). Please reply privately. Thanks and sorry for the non-IDM content.
