Yes, with Quicktime Pro (Mac) you can export as "Sound to AIFF" (also
Wave and other formats). Can't test the normal Quicktime version right
now. It also only worked with MOV files but not MPG (movie with audio).
I think $30 for the pro version are not too much. A lot of shareware
(e.g. MP3 players and encoders) cost about the same.
