Yes, some of the tracks do some very much like Tom Jenkinson's output. However, much of the album is different. To add some comparisons, there are a few tracks that sound like newer Funki Porcini, and old Amon Tobin Cujo-era stuff. I'm quite appalled that people would discount Clifford Gilberto as a rip-off artist. I think that the album is a really gorgeous listen from beginning to end. Whether or not some of the sound is a bit err.. borrowed remains to be determined by the individual listener. Clifford Gilberto is about as much Squarepusher as Funkstorung is to Autechre, or Komputer is to Kraftwerk. Aaron
