I dunno much of anything about Priest, but would like to be enlightened
myself. All I know is that Priest and the Anti-Pop Collective must have
loose ties with Jazz Fudge/Vadim, 'cuz if my memory doesn't fail me
they're listed on the latest JF 12", The Isolationist "Hydrogen Slush." I
don't have it with me at the moment but I'm almost positive they were
listed in some form on the back. Also, there's a track by Priest (the
same?) on the Terranova DJ Kicks comp, both on the CD and vinyl version.
Excellent track, dark brooding hip hop with rattling and popping b-line.
So hopefully that helps somewhat, I'm sure others can provide more
definitive who/what/etc info as to Priest and Anti-Pop...Brock
P.S. Can anyone pass on addys for trip/hip-hop mailing lists? A lot of my
posts lean in this direction and might be better directed elsewhere. Not
idm in the strictest sense, but I get bored talking about Dicky James all
day.
