Brekekekexkoaxkoax is "an open-ended art music collective focusing on
improvisational, indeterminate musical, visual, and movement performances"
(quoting from "their" web-site). It's Josh Ronsen's current musical
project and seems to consist of himself and whoever. You may also know him
from one of the following:
o official maintainer of the unofficial Jim O' Rourke discography
o contributor to the Austin-based experimental music zine/empire ND
o publisher of Monk Mink Pink Punk zine
o former DJ at WHPK-FM (roundabout answer to your question about the band
name)
o keeper of the flame for the "yeah, Autechre are 'good'... as in
'GOOD GOD THAT TOTALLY ROTS'" school of criticism
