I would suggest that you find out for yourself, instead of just
reading. If I bought 1/10 of everything that I read was great...I
would be stuck with alot of mediocre music.

It has always been my belief that 90% of ANY genre will be mediocre or
crap. The number of releases each week is irrelevant. There is a lot
of crap drum n bass out there. Alot of people cut n paste tracks
together and put it out. That is not the kind of drum n bass that I
was giving props to.
If you go out and listen to labels like Prototype, Virus, Moving
Shadow, 31, Ram, and lots of other labels. I am sure that you will
some pretty amazing stuff. Just about everything that Ed Rush and
Optical has put out lately has almost given chills it was so cool. The
basslines are always sick.
If you are interested in hearing some real audio samples go to the
website "A Place To Be" or do a websearch for Optical and Matrix. And
that's only a start.
Oh and go gives a shite about Grammies?
