Well first of all I ought to point out that the tracklisting Chris gave
is for the double CD version which is as out of print now as Volume 8
is... The last track on the single CD version (still available) is the
Seefeel one. Secondly, gotta disagree man, sorry. It's a good comp,
worth it completely for a few of the tracks... I personally think that
"Spangle" is the best thing of Seefeel that I know. Totally gorgeous,
slowly building, with "spangly" sounding organ, and great vocal samples.
The Autechre is good, but I guess not superb, the Link track is indeed
fantastic... I like the Beaumont Hannant one...
OK so some of Chris's criticism is reasonable but I still think the
album *is* worth it, if not for the Autechre then for the Seefeel and
Link tracks.
