Got a quick question for you gearheads out there...
I'm looking to buy a pc laptop (prob. one of those nice dell inspiron
3200s) and I'd like to use it for sequencing/sample editing in addition to
my work related stuff. One of the options is a port replicatior that
replicates Parallel, serial, docking, monitor, game/MIDI, and USB ports.
Do I need this to hook this up w/my drum machine? Or can I just use my
MIDI box for my desktop Mac on the pc laptop though it's regular serial
port?
