yes, boc just played chicago last week, and while the first movement was promising, the remainder of the piece felt way too flat. i am thinking that perhaps they didn't use enough of the arrangements that the ensemble would have allowed them to pursue. it just felt like a transcription for its own sake, with nothing substantially added or taken away. their original works were much more entertaining. mj np: depression (prolonged winter mix) * * * * * * * )) ) * ( ( ( * _O )WW( ___________(]])__WWWW_______________ -- XXXX those sad, sad campfire songs...
