Madonna did not "surreptitously acquire" that name. It was given to her
by her parents. Madonna Ciccone is her name, much same as the first name
"Jesus" is still quite common in the Hispanic community. Just because
someone famous had a particular name once doesn't mean all dibs are taken
on it. Did the band Jesus Jones or the basketball player Moses Malone
elicit a similar reaction from you?
