this is vaguely e-b related, since in involves autechre (electro) and
hip-hop (breaks).
i saw recently that autechre listed remixing the east flatbush project as
one of their favorite things in 1997. does anyone know anything about
this? the east flatbush project 12", "tried by twelve," built around a
devastating koto sample, was one of my favorite 12"s of 1996, and an
autechre rmx would be too good to believe.
idm would probably be a better forum for this, but i left that list long
ago, so any info anyone has on this would be much appreciated.
