It has been brought to my attention that my posts to the lists have been mighty fucked up formattingwise. i thought it was just a personal email problem, but I finally reinstalled my software. Please let me know if this and subsequent posts are ok. Since my previous posts were well nigh unreadable, I'll summarize my minimal recent contribution to the list, and add some more stuff. For a great hiphop site, check out http://sandbox.pair.com/. It has all sorts of scratching stuff, rap, videos, mixtapes, clothing... Good prices, but shipping is a bit pricey. Drexciya:the Quest, vinyl vs CD. Are the only differences in tracks readily available on vinyl only EP? What labels are these EPs on? Sir Menelik is going to release an album on Rawkus that he claims is going to be very drum and bass influenced hiphop—his single has collaborations with Co- Flow and Dr Octagon, so I'd watch out... For those of you on the list not into hiphop, defintely check out Rawkus—they've been pretty much can't miss in the last year, and they have a great-reviewed comp out, Soundbombing. Electro: I remember this thread from a few months ago, but unfortunately I forgot to save the posts. I have the Soul oddity album Tone Capsule which has its good moments-can anybody recommend a good compilation or a definitive few artists. Sorry for yet another one of my general questions—still, i'm looking for one or two quality releases, not an entire genre discography... Thanks in advance. VVM spinning live. They played the harshest, noisiest drum and bass i'd ever heard, made No-U Turn sound like bukem. Anybody have any clue what this stuff is? I didn't exactly like it, but damn... Enough outta me Sam
